Re: Unable to open link in Outlook from Sharepoint

Before moving on, I’d like to confirm the following information:
1. Do you want to click the link in the email and get the document opened via Office Web Apps in Internet Explorer?
2. As you mentioned “person next to me can open the link directly”, did he click the same document link in the same email as you did?

If no, please forward this email to this person to see if he can open and view the document by clicking the link in the email.

If yes, to narrow down the issue, I suggest you reset your IE settings by referring to  How to reset Internet Explorer settings
